Awakening

A haze mirage-like midst the corn

this new day born

has made the field a secret place

in dawning's grace,

and only now a rustling sound

is heard and found-

a call to peace within the breeze

upon its knees

which stirs my soul to now rejoice

as though the voice

of Him whose face I cannot see

that's Heavenly

and hidden, just as though the haze

that holds my gaze

that's made the field a secret place

in dawning's grace...

(It's that time of year here again when the corn is quickly growing, reminding me of
 the approaching Autumn season.) :)
