A Flock of Cardinals

 

A flock of cardinals, I did see

singing in an Autumn tree;

October winds then strongly blew

and all the virbrant cardinals flew

high in the air in celebration

with vibrant notes of great elation,

then landing here upon the ground

pillowed and divinely bound-

heeding brightly, seasons call-

leaves like cardinals, in the Fall...
