Eagle or Hawk?
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Eagle or Hawk?

Today, a bird of prey soared Heaven high;

I squinted to discern...yet couldn't see

exactly which it was, so far from me

unwavering in flight midst azure sky.

I thought...oh wow...to have that kind of view

and how God gave the eagle razor sight,

and blessed the wings unwavering in flight-

the hawk created in the same way, too...

Then, that is when Isaiah came to mind-

"Yet those who wait on Him will gain new strength-

uplifted, one may soar for any length;

when trusting Him, no weariness we'll find"...

The hawk or eagle then soared towards the river

where manna thrives, abundant from the Giver...

Isaiah 40:31...'Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength.  They will mount up
                        with wings like eagles.  They will run and not get tired.  They will walk and
                        not become weary.
