Uplifting Wings
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by Lucia Kiersch Haase

Uplifting wings of yellow gold,

a finch soars quickly, song be told

of treetops rustling in the breeze,

and views of near and distant lees.

Uplifting wings to mountain sky,

a swallowtail butterfly

arises up and lightly floats-

a fluttering of gentle notes.

I read the Bible and His Word

soars in me like the yellow bird;

my spirit flutters - joy to sing...

and I too, am uplifting wings.
