As Morning Comes
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By Lucia Kiersch Haase
Other Poems by Lucia Kiersch Haase

As morning comes, the trumpet sounds

amidst Creation's song and dance,

as Light upon the earth abounds

and sunrise fills the vast expanse.

Amidst Creation's song and dance,

flows hymns in nature's windward ways

and sunrise fills the vast expanse

as all the earth begins to praise.

There's hymns in nature's windward ways,

the ancient day today...the same

as all the earth begins to praise

in glory of our Savior's name.

The ancient day today...the same

as Light upon the earth abounds-

in glory of our Savior's name...

as morning comes, the trumpet sounds.

(inspired by Psalm 150)
