Autumn

Autumn

Bright leaves falling in the season-

inspiration, rhyme and reason;

nature's beauty, God's own calling-

in the season, bright leaves falling.

Poems written, rustling muses-

like the leaves, inspired fuses;

leaves or stanzas, I am smitten-

rustling muses, poems written.

(This is my fun swap quatrain poem.  In each stanza, the first and second half of the first line
 is reversed and used as the last line of the stanza, using an   'aa  bb  cc  dd' rhyme scheme.) :)

Today is officially the first day of Autumn in Illinois.  Still waiting for the cooler weather. :)
