Spring Sermon

Spring  Serman

A chorus sings of Spring here, born anew;

it 'tis a golden yellow congregation,

so praising dressed in Sunday morning dew-

a hundred daffodils in adoration

so beautifully created, striving high

up towards the hallowed chapel of the sky.

Then from a cherry blossom's pulpit branch,

a robin chirps a sermon to be heard-

an exhortation into the expanse

of Spring, new birth and joy within His Word-

o're valleys, hills and woodlands - tree to tree-

oh glory!...wondrous glory...glory be...

(a heroic sestet stanza poem)
