          Be Real

My life may be in upheaval
As the Holy Scripture is heard.
The church can be my cathedral.
In awe, I hear the Word.

God holds ev’ry person’s life dear,
More than the birds that sing and perch.
God loves the world and keeps me here…
My mission, rescue, search.

I must share Christ and do my part…
Let Christian love be what folk see.
Help me love others from the heart
Where I live – let it be.

Worship, sharing Christ, showing love…
Not stuck with life the way it is.
Claim this foundation from above.
His plan is not just fizz.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
