Cinderella Will Go To The Ball

When you know that Christ loves” the church”
With her wrinkles and blemishes
Then you want to pray, love and search
And to frequent the premises.

When people come to worship Him-
Various people from all tribes-
The angels gasp and “sing a hymn”
The world takes notice on the side.

Christ will present Himself “ a bride.”
She’ll not be in rags and tatters.
Ev’ryone is not on her side,
But God is, and that’s what matters.

----------- just as Christ also loved the church and
gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her,
having cleansed her by the washing of water with the
Word,  that He might present to Himself the church
in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such
thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.
Ephesians 5:25-27  (NASB)
