My Worry List for Prayer

My Worry List for Prayer

Will my income meet basic expenses?
Just thinking about it reels the senses.

Does my Father take note of all these things?
Does a robin catch worms – a bird have wings?

Can I cope with the things that lie ahead?
Will I be weak or have good strength instead?

My God said, “as thy days, thy strength shall be.”
Just one step at a time, He’ll help me see.

Will someone younger have time to help me?
So much seems insurmountable, you see.

“Orphans and widows, He’ll not abandon.”
He’ll provide their needs – their hearts He’ll gladden.

Helping my GRANDS get their education
Is priority  - needed foundation.

Praying their lives my dear Father will guide.
I know He’ll answer and stay by their side.

This old worry list is very scary.
I could make it longer and points vary,

But God, who called me, will make me steadfast.
I have Grace in Christ that will surely last.

Will the US fail, bring persecution?
A dilemma – is there no solution

My Father always hears and answers prayer.
Waiting and trusting is hard, but He cares!

"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations,
knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
and perseverance, character; and character, hope."
