I’d Like to Have Been There

When Adam breathed that first breath
When Adam first talked with God
When Abraham was told his purpose
When Noah and family saw the first rainbow
When Moses led the people across the Red Sea
When God’s glory completely filled the first Temple
When the walls of Jericho “came tumbling down”
When Jesus' birth was announced to the shepherds
When Jesus was baptized and the Father spoke
When the stone was rolled away and Jesus rose
When the Holy Spirit was first given
When Christ ascended into Heaven

I like to think about His return for His own.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
