At Just the Right Time

At just the right time Abraham left home

To wander to a place that he knew not.

God led, spoke to him as, in tents, they roamed.

Later came their children and nephew Lot.

At just the right time little Moses came

When God’s people needed a lot of help.

Raised by a daughter of Egyptian fame,

At his peoples’ treatment, his heart did melt.

At just the right time God’s Son came to earth.

Roman rule oppressed the people greatly.

Angels told lowly shepherds of His birth

As He came quietly, not grand or stately.

At just the right time He’ll answer your prayer.

He’ll never ignore His child’s petition.

When Heaven seems blocked – seems He isn’t there,

Keep on praying until there’s fruition.

At just the right time He’ll come back again

To right ev’rything in heaven and earth.

The only Lord Christ who can save all men

Will come in great glory – all Heavens worth!
