God Never Leaves

“Elvis has left the building”
has been announced here and there.
He has left to go we know not where.

God said, “I’ll never leave or forsake you.”
No matter what comes, He’s always there
To love and hear and answer prayer.

No matter how bad the world may be,
God does not “leave the building.”
His Word is pure gold with gilding!

“The eternal God is your refuge
and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
Deuteronomy 33: 27

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
