The Christ of Love

The Christ of Love

God’s valuable ‘cause He’s useful??
Vulnerable , I depend on Him!
Only He can wash white as wool.
Only my Lord can fill to the brim.

Not known by my life or the world ‘round
Propitiation alone showed it.
It’s in Christ alone it can be found
The flame of His love forever lit.

He knew life on earth but did not break.
Pressures, sadness - He took all my sin.
His love will never fluxuate.
He’ll come back - eternity begin .

Adam and Eve’s love became twisted,
Hiding from God and running away.
Christ, in us His love invested.
May I love God  - never go astray!

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
