Choice

I must always hunt for His Truth.
I can’t just say I don’t care.
If you’re not “for” you are “against.”
To not even choose, you don’t dare.

No answer becomes an answer.
You’ve made a choice anyway.
Even if you try not to think,
There on the fence you cannot stay.

In Matthew 12:30 Jesus says, “If you are not for me
you are against me.”

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
