God is Working Perseverance is the fruit, not the cause, Of my growing in faith and love. Love is evidence of His work – no pause- In my life from His throne above.
I can use this Truth to improve praying About the roots of my problems. Increase my faith is what I am saying So that I know He can solve them.
Lord, sustain my usefulness in old age. Give me a large heart for others That, in my life, You will take center stage Thus to help sisters and brothers.
Love through me – there to leverage my trials, So helping me grow in Your Grace, Learning how I should suffer denials Until I see You face to face. |

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015.
My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
