Sometimes

Sometimes I feel like Job did

With ailments and losses and such.

Sometimes I feel like Abram

When God told him to leave his home.

Sometimes I feel like David

When he grieved the loss of his son.

Sometimes, feel like Elijah

Hope I will ascend while alive.

Sometimes I feel like Jonah

Just want to run away and hide.

Sometimes I feel like Mary

When God told her she would be blessed.

Sometimes I feel like old John

Looking into the New Heaven.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
