What to do - What to do

What to Do, What to Do

Some obey without question.
Some question everything.
Not good to be paranoid
Nor be  “a monkey on a string.”

Reason to be suspicious?
They seem to fight forth and back.
Which one do we trust today?
It’s the main answer that we lack.

We’re spoiled in America.
We all want instant service.
Where did this originate?
The whole thing makes me nervous!

Let’s sit down and be honest,
List the sins of all mankind.
Oh, mine are here included.
Already, so many I find.

God knows all about this thing
That’s taken us by surprise.
May He help us fight it smart
And grow in His all-seeing eyes.

About the Poet
I asked Jesus to be my Savior when I was 11 - that was almost 70 years ago as of June 2015. My husband and I had been married for 54 years as of March 2010 before he went Home to Heaven, and we have one son & daughter in law and 3 grandchildren.
