Do We Live By the Constitution or t

Do You live by the Constitution? Or the Bible?

As many struggle with what’s “constitutional…”

Our country has become largely delusional!

Many don’t want to live by the Biblical

 principles applied.

They want to live their own life,

 till the day they die!

As our courts struggle with

 their own set of rules…

Before God, many have become simply fools!

As God is often taken out, ridiculed and scorned!

It’s this country of ours, that needs to be warned!

Without Biblical principles as our foundation!

We’re losing hope and the way of salvation!

In eternity, you won’t answer to the U.S. Constitution!

You’ll answer to God!  He requires restitution!

Through Jesus’ blood, restitution has been paid!

A way to heaven, through Christ, has been made!

May this country seek the God of the Bible!

And cease worshiping so many false idols!

Through Christ, separation from

 God doesn’t need to be!

You can be with him now!

 And for eternity!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
