It's Time to Be Sold out to God!

It’s Time to Be Sold Out to God!

God wants a holy and a Godly separation.

He’s calling this all across this great nation!

He’s looking for those who want to serve him.

Those who’ve chosen to fall in love with him!

He wants those with their focus on the cross.

Those who follow him, whatever the cost!

He wants those with the Holy Ghost’ fire!

Those who want Jesus to be lifted higher!

He doesn’t want those who are playing games.

Not the ones who embarrass Jesus’ name!

He’s not looking for a church’s social event.

But the ones who really want to truly repent!

Are you one who’s been totally sold out?

And are cleansed by the blood, inside out?

Are you one who’s not afraid to take a stand.

And preach righteousness all over this land?

If you are, step up and make your voice heard!

Allow yourself to walk in the truth

 of God’s word!

Preach the gospel, even if it may offend!

That the lost souls may be convicted within!

It’s time to be sold out to Jesus,

like never before!

Allow his presence in to increase ever more!

Living for God 100%, is the best thing to do!

He’s done his part.

The rest is up to YOU!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
