Jesus, Here I Am! Send Me!

Jesus, Here I Am!   Send Me!

Jesus, here I am.  I’m willing

 and ready to go!

Please help me Lord to reach

 the lost souls.

There’s so many lost souls

that need your touch.

They are lost and hurting and

 need you so much.

May our spirit light in my heart

 a burning fire.

May witnessing to the lost

be my heart’s desire.

Please give me words that’ll lead

to a conviction.

May your spirit lead them

 to a godly direction.

I want to go where you want

to send me.

No matter how many may

despise and hate me.

May your love be the cord that

 touches and binds.

Help me to bring the light to their

 darkened minds.

Here I am Lord!  Though my remaining

 days are few…

I want to reach out to the lost

 souls for YOU!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
