Let's Make Plans For Our Eternal Ho
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Let’s Plan for Our Eternal Home!

This life we have is for a brief moment.

On the road to eternity,

it’s a “postponement.”

Our life won’t be here for long.

This world is where we don’t belong!

Our life live isn’t really yours or mine.

It was purchased by Jesus!  HIS love divine!

Our life isn’t ours alone.

We need to plan for our eternal home!

Our life we live was meant to be…

Living with God for all eternity!

Our life is like one short day.

One day, our life will be taken away.

The life I live, I’m giving to Christ above.

I’ll give him my heart and all my love!

This life I live, it’s going to be…

Much more of Jesus and less of me!

The life I live, I have one thing in mind…

Living for Jesus for the rest of my time!

The life I live, I know will be blessed!

Because living for God is always the best!

This choice I made, brought peace within!

God brought forgiveness for my sin!

This choice can be yours!   God’s offer is given!

Won’t you allow him to change how you’re livin’?

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
