Satan Wants to Destroy YOU!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Satan’s Purpose Is to Destroy YOU!

There may be many things that you enjoy.

But Satan’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy!

This is his ultimate purpose and goal.

He wants very much to destroy your soul!

Just look around at the things people use.

So many get worn out, defeated and abused!

Many battle addictions of various kinds.

And end up with suicidal thoughts in their minds!

You can try to get rid of God…  If you want to.

But wherever you go…  His love will find you!

The life Jesus offers…  Satan doesn’t want you to receive!

No matter how many good things you have achieved!

Sin’s wages bring death and a God and man separation.

This is why God offers to all, his gift of salvation!

Christ came that you may have life abundantly!

He brings eternal joy and life…  Most assuredly!

There’s one who hates, and one who loves you.

Satan wants to destroy, but God really wants you!

Won’t you listen to God’s gentle voice today?

And really listen to the words he has to say!

“Whosoever will, let him come and receive life eternal!”

Because of Jesus, your name can be in heaven’s journal!

Hallelujah!  Through Christ,

Satan is already defeated!

And through HIM, your life can be completed!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
