You Can't Take Away...

You Can't Take Away...

You can't take away my love and desire

to be more like HIM...

God's son...  Has rescued me from the

depths of sin.

You can't take away the tears

running down my face...

I'm so thankful for my saviour's

mercy and unfailing grace...

You can't take away the joy that's

deep within my soul.

I will bless and praise HIS name

wherever I may go...

You can't take away the life

that he has given to me...

He's restored my soul and has

SET ME FREE!!!

You can't take away what God's son

has purchased on the cross...

He is with me, when everything seems

hopeless and lost!

You can't take away the victory he has given!

I'm alive today because I have

been totally forgiven!

You can't take away God's love

which is faithful and true...

Everything that Christ gave to me...

He offers to you!

Allow HIM to take away all

of your sorrow and sin...

And know what it truly means to be BORN AGAIN!

What the enemy has taken...

Jesus can give so much more!

It was for you and me, that his death

on the cross was meant for!

His death took away all guilt, sorrow

and sin's dark stain.

You can find everything you need...

in Jesus' wonderful name!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
