Don't Blame God When Things Go Wron

Don’t Blame God When Things Go Wrong!

There’s some who blame God when things go wrong.

In their life, they feel like he just doesn’t belong.

They expect things in life just to go

 like “smooth sailing.”

They’re reluctant to admit their own

 faults and failing.

They tend to use God as an excuse

to shift the blame.

When they talk about God, they tend

 to curse his name

If not for God’s mercy they wouldn’t

be here today.

God gives them a choice to choose

 him and obey.

His way is narrow, and often, a lonely

 road to travel.

He’s offers help, when things in life,

 become “unraveled.”

We need to realize he’s the only one

who truly loves us.

He’s a place of refuge when this world

 “crashes around us.”

He’s a loving God, who’s merciful,

 loving and kind…

He offers eternal salvation to YOU

and all of mankind!

Why not trust him and accept

 his divine salvation?

He can change and make YOU a new creation!

Isn’t it about time you cast all your

anger and blame aside?

With Jesus as Lord of your life, you’re

on the winning side!

Come to him now!  Allow his love

to fill you within!

You can know a savior as your

 eternal friend!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
