God Wants Us to Love the Unlovable!

God Wants Us to Love the “Unlovable!”

How can someone love God,

 yet not love the “unlovable?”

How can someone follow God

 and not reach the “unreachable?”

How can someone go to church,

 and sit in a pew.

How can this person not tell another

 “Jesus loves you!”

How can the body of Christ

 simply “sit around ?”

While this world of ours is being

 “turned upside-down?”

How can those who’ve accepted

God’s gift of grace…

When trouble comes their way,

 “turn the other face?”

Jesus died for the sins of so many!

Sharing HIM with others...

  Are there any???

How can one put up with

being lukewarm for so long?

In God’s arms of mercy

Is where we all belong!

Let’s not let another day

 simply pass by…

Let’s give God total control!

Or we’ll spiritual die!

Why not give everything to Jesus?

Giving him your best?

Take one step toward him.

 He will do the rest!

Why not tell others of him,

 with no postponement?

He want you to reach others,

this very moment!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
