What If This World Were a Better Pl
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 3 times

What If This World Were A Better Place?

What if you knew this world would be a better place?

Would this bring hope and a smile on your face?

What if I were to tell you that things will get better?

I could give you this message, with a letter.

What if you woke up tomorrow, with no more worries?

What if you could get thru life, with no “big hurries?”

We both know that this just isn’t meant to be.

There’s an evil world out there...   It’s plain to see!

We often grow up with many dreams and ambitions.

This often brings out many good intentions.

We often see the world around us falling apart.

This often leads to a broken life and heart.

There’s a life like no other many fail to find.

It brings true joy and a godly peace of mind.

This life is eternal, and there’s few that’ll find it.

If you’ll read God’s word, his words do remind it!

A life everlasting with Jesus can be yours!  For sure!

A place to live in heaven…  Forever and secure!

Won’t you take the opportunity to live in a better place?

And enjoy the kind of living, in God’s abundant grace?

The blessings of life with Jesus,

are the best ones to receive!

Won’t you put your faith in HIM?

Simply trust and believe!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
