I Call On Jesus!

I Call On Jesus!

I can call on Jesus again

 and again!

I call on him as my Lord

 and friend!

I call on Jesus when I have

 struggles within.

He’s more than willing to

 forgive my sins.

I call on Jesus when

 no one’s around.

He picks me up when

 I’m feeling down.

I call on Jesus for sweet

peace and delight.

He’s always there each

day and night!

Won’t you call on him

 to be your Lord too?

There’s so much that

he wants to do!

Won’t you trust him to be

your friend today?

Listen to the words of hope

 he has to say!

Let’s call on him and

Humbly confess!

Because living for Jesus

is always THE BEST!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
