Will You Simply Trust Jesus!

Will You Simply Trust Jesus?

I hear of a lot of people with so many problems.

Often they look for someone to help solve them.

I hear of many families that are falling apart.

Yet another broken relationship and heart.

There’s many people going in different directions.

Often getting confused at “life’s intersections.”

Too many times people put their trust in someone.

Sometimes their hurting and will trust “anyone.”

But, too often, Jesus is left out, and “in the cold.”

“How can you trust him?”  Many have been told.

“He’s just made up.”  “Just in one’s imagination.”

And soon many choose a God and soul separation.

Jesus is alive!  He’s one whom you can depend on.

His promises are forever!  On him, you can lean on!

Why not put your trust and faith completely in him?

Why not read his word?  And by faith, receive him?

He’ll never disappoint you and

 will not let you down!

For where there’s sin.

His grace much more abounds!

There’s an everlasting life just waiting for you!

Jesus is here now!  And he really does love you!

Please take this time to trust and come to him.

This can be the day for you to really know him!

Living for Jesus is the answer and the key!

So you too can live with him, for all eternity!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
