Inner Renovation

Inner Renovation

It's not about cathedrals
in their pomp and splendor...
what moves our Heavenly Father

is a heart that will surrender.
It's not about Do's and Don'ts
or the best denomination;
God's plan for us begins
with inner renovation.

It's about God's people
who have but one ambition,
to worship and serve Jesus
in obedience and submission.

It's about a lifestyle of
letting Jesus have His way,
not just on Sunday mornings,

but every single day!
It's about victorious living,
resting in God's care,
knowing He won't give us
more than we can bear!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
