Sup with Jesus

Sup With Jesus

While the door is open wide,
come ye thirsty, come inside.

there's a banquet table there,
come ye hungry, pull up a chair!

His food and drink will satisfy,
it flows from heaven's vast supply...
come ye sinners and you'll find
nourishment of the lasting kind!

God's provision is sent with love
from His storehouse up above.
all are welcome to join the feast
from the greatest to the least!

Come ye now to the Lord
it's an invitation you CAN afford.
it's free of charge, come partake,
to put if off is a mistake!

Accept His invitation today
God beckons you so don't delay.
come while you are still able,
feast at the Lord's dining table.

He summons you with anticipation,
and offers you His salvation.
come to Jesus don't hesitate,
tomorrow could be too late!

He keeps knocking at your door,
come sup with Him forevermore.
repent right now of your sin,
Jesus is waiting to let you in...

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
