In The Storm
God may not calm each storm but help you stay calm by the awesome power of His outstretched arm.
Your circumstances my linger
but you shall have peace, and amid all the chaos your faith shall increase.
The enemy's arrows will
attack from each side, yet in the shelter of the Lord you can safely hide!
Things all around you
may crumble and fall,
but God's structure of hope in you shall stand tall!
Many tears you'll shed
due to pain and sorrow... in Christ you'll find strength to face each tomorrow! |

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
