Losing Your Chance

Losing Your Chance

Sail aorund the world,
take a rocket to the moon,
climb the highest mountain,
or fly away in a balloon;
explore the darkest jungle,
live on a tropic isle,
go out on a safari,
or travel down the Nile;

Y our money can't secure
a place beyond the stars,
no I'm not speaking of
Venus, Jupiter or Mars.
I'm referring to Heaven,
and wealth cannot buy
your eternal reservation
in the sweet by and by...

Jesus is the ONLY way
to assure your salvation;
you may not have tomorrow
to accept Christ's invitation!
It will be a tragedy
to fulfill all your dreams
but in the process lose

your chance to be redeemed!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
