Be Assured

Where there is darkness
God shines His light,
when there's injustice
God makes things right.

In a hopeless situation
God always works best;
amid stress and anxiety
He will give you rest.

Many hearts will wax cold
as Christ's return draws nigh;
will you hear the trumpet 
when it blasts from on high?

Be assured of one thing,
in Christ we are secure;
live according to God's word
and until the end endure.

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
