Lord and Master

Lord and Master

Is there time today to seek My face
and sup with me in a quiet place?
Remember how you plead with Me
during a crisis on bended knee?

You beg Me then to answer you
but ignore Me when skies are blue...
why wait for an emergency
to come and fellowship with Me!

I'm no genie at your beck and call,
I'm your Savior after all!
Once again you're pre-occupied,
and My invitation is denied.

Please make time without a reason
and desire me in every season.
Wait not for the next disaster
to call upon your Lord and Master.

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
