Nothing Can Separate Us

If you scale the highest mountain
and sail the ocean blue,
or take a rocket to the moon,
you can't escape from God
for He'll be watching you!

If you dwell in a dark cave,
in a cavern underground,
or on a deserted island
you still won't be alone
because God is still around.

Fly to the far side of the sun,
or take a voyage neath the sea,
but there's no place in the universe
where you can run and hide,
for where you go, God will be.

Nothing can separate us
from God who reigns above...
not death, not life,
angels won't, and demons can't
come between us and God's love!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
