Good Tidings

Good Tidings

Good tidings of great joy
I bring to you this day,
was what the shepherds heard
the heralding angel say.
For in a lowly manger
in Bethlehem of old,
a tiny babe was born
as the prophets had foretold.

Jesus is the Savior
of our sin infested race,
kings bowed down before Him
when they beheld His face.

He is still alive and well
saving men each day,
dwelling in each life
if they choose to obey!
Christmas is the season
of joy and good cheer,
but don't neglect to honor God
throughout the coming year!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
