Be Not Tossed To and Fro

Read God's word and practice then
a lifestyle that is read of men...
let your yes be yes and no be no,
and be not tossed to and fro...
be steadfast in faith each day
and trust in Jesus come what may...
fervently pray and when you do
expect that God will answer you!
Be not tossed to and fro,
digest God's word and you'll grow...
follow the Lord with great zeal,
don't be fooled by what you feel.
With inner peace you can face
life's ordeals by God's grace!

James 1:5-8 "If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give an bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it.  But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind, and every decision you then make will be uncertain as you turn first this way and then that."
