Saving Power

Saving Power

There is tension in the air,
you can sense it everywhere...
mens' hearts failing them for fear
as catastrophic days are here.
Because we're richly blessed
we console others in distress.
We are called to servanthood
tho we remain misunderstood!

Before the Lord returns to earth
He hopes all men receive new birth.
Forget not that day at Calvary
when Jesus died to set men free.
It's the greatest hour to proclaim
the saving power of His name!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
