Crumb Buns

Crumb Buns

Mountains likened to crumb buns,

Sugar sprinkled on top, just right.

Snow's light and feathery texture,

Praises God through wintry nights.

Others may shun the cold,

Only waiting the warmth of spring.

But I love the whiteness, the crispness,

The drip, drip, dripping that icicles bring.

The reminder of sins forgiven,

My scarlet stains now gone.

My dwelling, secure in heaven,

The victory that Jesus has won.

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow...." Is. 1:18

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
