Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers

We think we are big, all important, and strong.
Yet God has His own words to say.
To Him we're as grasshoppers, drops, and some dust,
Compared to omnipotent ways.
The earth is His footstool, the stars are His friends.
Each tear drop is noted,
Every word that offends.
He is the one who is awesome, important and strong.
Let us bow down before Him,
And praise Him with song.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
