Thunder

Thunder

So many voices and sounds come my way,

Some like thunderings, vague and questioning,

But I long for His voice, this day.

Peaceful, calm and sure,

Keeping my mind and heart secure.

John 12:29 "Then a voice came from heaven...Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to Him." Jesus knew who it was.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
