Two Swans

Two Swans

Every morning as the sun starts the day,
Two sleeping swans float gently on the bay.
It doesn't seem to matter, whether rain or shine,
They sleep on contentedly, and life is just fine.
May I be as secure as my swan friends have shown,
That God's our protector, and I'm never alone.

*I love to look for my two swan friends. They are always together and no more than a few feet from each other. They are usually sleeping when I pass by. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's raining or the sun is shining, they still sleep just as peacefully. One day ice was forming all around them, but they were the picture of contentment and security.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
