Gentle Rustling

Gentle Rustling

Gentle rustling through the trees,

Reminds me of God passing,

His presence I need.

Each worshipful tune of the robin and wren,

Call me to lift up my own heart to Him.

The warmth of the sun and the humble earthworm,

The curious uncoiling of the green Boston fern,

The radiance of flowers, the drop of spring rain,

Fill my heart with such joy,

Praise to His Holy Name.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
