The Name of Jesus
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

The Name of Jesus
Jesus' name is mentioned everywhere I go,
But I grieve within my spirit,
Because of what I know.
His name is not held high in honor,
Or glorified by them.
They use His name to curse their plight,
And magnify their sin.
If they only knew of who they spoke,
His kindness and His care.
They would not speak in angry tones,
But praise  the Lord most fair.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
