The Sound of Clapping

The Sound of Clapping

As the colorful leaves are falling,

I can hear the trees applause.

Praise for their Creator,

Before the winter's pause.

Their colors declare His glory,

Raised branches shout His praise.

In obedience they will quietly slumber,

Until the touch of the Father's gaze.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
