Friend

Who is more loving than our Jesus?

Who is more faithful and true?

To think that He would serve Judas,

As He would serve me and you.

Even as Judas approached Him,

He stayed faithful right to the end.

And when Judas greeted Him as betrayer,

Jesus still referred to him as friend.

Based on the account in Matthew 26:50.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
