Heirs

Heirs

Fragrance fills the outdoor home of,

Hyacinths and lilac air.

Thoughts of warmth, love and compassion,

Prompted by the kiss of God.

Small buds open eyes to morning,

Colors of red and pink and blue.

Proud to paint the world with brightness,

Light green timbres visit soon.

O,  world, wake up, look to Jesus,

Sitting on His throne of love.

All of nature glorifying,

Their Creator, Father God.

Turn your hearts from petty poison,

Pinching thoughts with cares, concerns.

Turn your eyes to nature's splendor,

Breathe in springtime's fresh, new heirs.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
