The Meadow
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Jesus and I walk in the meadow of my mind,

Strolling through flowers of every kind.

Sunshine's abundant, glistening on leaves,

Warming the soul; friendship achieved.

Clouds may appear, but pass quickly by,

Praise and thanksgiving ensure my clear sky.

He speaks of His love, He helps me understand,

That my thoughts create a meadow where He and I stand.

Meditation on the good, remembering His ways,

Resting on His promises, all set the stage.

My mind is the meadow for my Savior and I,

We walk and we talk under eternal blue skies.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
