Black and White
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by Connie Centrella

I saw the world in black and white,

Only shapes and shadows,

Yet, all seemed right.

Then Jesus came to give me life,

All became new,

No more sin or strife.

Now the world is in color,

Bright blue and deep green,

Brilliant yellow and orange,

A rainbow of colors,

Each glance, every scene.

I prefer to live with colors,

In the color of the Lord,

As Eric Clapton sang long ago,

When I was born again, years before.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
